The Movement

The Automatic Movement

A self-winding mechanical movement beats at the heart of this watch: 24 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 41 hours. The rotor winds the mainspring in both directions of wear, the crown also winds it by hand, and the seconds hand stops the instant the crown is pulled, so the time can be set to the exact second. Shock-protected, regulated and individually numbered before it leaves the atelier.

Features

Super-LumiNova®

Super-LumiNova®

Super-LumiNova® is a luminescent compound applied to the hands, dial and indexes to make them visible in the dark.

Stainless Steel Case

Stainless Steel Case

A highly resistant alloy of steel and chromium. It can be worked to resemble a precious metal and is nearly impervious to rust, tarnish and corrosion.

Sapphire Crystal

Sapphire Crystal

Synthetic sapphire crystal is a tough, scratch-resistant material. Only a diamond could leave a mark on it.

Self-Winding

Self-Winding

Wrist movements cause the inner rotor to swing, transferring energy to the mainspring and powering your timepiece.

Shock Protection

Shock Protection

A sprung bearing holds the balance staff and absorbs impact, protecting the most delicate pivots of the movement from knocks and falls.

Verdet Automatic Caliber

Verdet Automatic Caliber

A three-hand automatic movement with 24 jewels, a power reserve of 41 hours and a stop-seconds function for setting the time precisely.

The Weight of a Good Suit

The Weight of a Good Suit

Thin enough to disappear under a cuff, present enough to be noticed when it appears. The Paramount was drawn for the days that begin at a desk and end at a table.

A Dial Worth the Second Look

A Dial Worth the Second Look

Light travels across the texture and changes the colour as the hours pass. What looks like a solid tone from a distance turns out to be a landscape up close.
